Paul Rodriguez, the son of Spanish immigrants, is one of the
best known Hispanic entertainment figures in the US. Already
well known in the Hispanic community from his four year run
hosting the bilingual entertainment talk show, "El Show de
Paul Rodriguez", Rodriguez recently began to reach a wider
audience through his roles in the features 'Born in East L.A."
and "Made In America". More recently, he achieved success with
his first feature film as director, the comedy "Million to
Juan" Rodriguez continues to be prolific in TV, as executive producer on "Loco Slam" comedy specials featuring the best Latino stand- up comics in the US. His strong following in the Hispanic-American community led to him becoming a spokesperson for the Pepsi-Cola company. When asked what has made him successful, Rodriguez says: "My single most important quality is perserverance. Someone just asked me what part of 'No' I didn't understand, and I said 'Just the N and the O.' "
